Incorporated in 1891, Marysville Washington has a population of 36,210. Marysville has benefited from the economic revival of our good neighbors, the Tulalip Tribes, who have provided many jobs through their 227,000-square-foot Tulalip Casino, Quil Ceda Village Business Park, Seattle Premium Outlets and 13-story destination resort hotel scheduled to open in 2008.
City of Marysville parks and recreation system benefits our environment, adds to the physical and mental well-being of our citizens, and makes our community and neighborhoods a better place to live. Marysville offers 389 acres of parks, anchored by the centerpiece of the system, 50-acre Jennings Memorial Park and Jennings Nature Park. With an eye toward the future, Marysville opened its first phase of the Strawberry Fields Athletic Complex, 71 acres, north of the city. Opened in March 2005, Strawberry Fields includes three lighted soccer fields, walking trails, picnic areas, public restrooms and other amenities.
